GoPro, riding the wave of a successful IPO, has three new cameras slated for release. The follow up to the Hero 3, aptly named Hero 4. All Hero 4 models are set for release on October 5. HERO4 Black and Silver share powerful new features that expand what’s possible with a GoPro. New settings for after dark, Night Photo and Night Lapse allow you to capture stunning images of ultra low-light scenes with customizable exposure settings of up to 30 seconds. High-performance audio, a totally re-designed internal audio system combines with a state of the art microphone to capture clean, high fidelity sound with 2x the dynamic range of previous models. The new Black comes with a retail price of US$499, and the Silver will set buyers back $399. As for the new budget model, it’s launching with a modest $129 price tag.
